When I discovered the previous CVMA link was broken I found an alternative quick rather than take the post down. But otherwise I’d ordinarily favour their links above others.

…rights that musicians or families have. I’m not sure what other labels are doing. I tried to direct people to the CVMA YouTube channel as much as possible in my book song list as I know that they are at least trying to get round a system that doesn’t honour old music royalties in Cambodia.

The Cambodian Vintage Music Archive supported the Sisamouth family to obtain rights to 83 of his songs in 2014. I haven’t heard of a legal wins since then sadly. I know the CVMA have in the past given donations to families in exchange for Spotify playlists and in absence of any legal royalties…
