While unintentionally blurry (my camera had a bad focusing screen I didn't know about until I developed the roll), I love this image. It makes me think: do we ever really see others who are less privileged than ourselves clearly? #StreetPhotography

Amsterdam. I have a mild fascination with alleys and other "hidden places." I caught the walker reacting to someone wolf whistling at him from somewhere above (I almost wolf whistled at him, too).

Years ago, I exhibited this image as part of a Seattle gay photographers collective. I was really proud of it, but my heart sank when I overheard someone who was looking at it say, “Wow, the dick on this kid!” To me, this image is beautiful and about so much more than dick.
