I have opted to keep my TV volume low mainly because ESPN… but I also dislike this new semi-virtual setups the teams are going with. Maybe it’s because I’m not use to it (I don’t watch other sports or their drafts), but I’m not a fan of this version of the draft.

I thought in the beginning of the game JJ had said Hartnell had “other commitments”, so Galley agreed to fill in, but I admit I wasn’t paying 100% attention, so not positive that’s what JJ said, but it was definitely something to that effect because Galley quipped about dipping into the “bullpen”.

I have no idea when the rule changed from “you can challenge for goalie interference and off-side” to “you can challenge for any/everything”. I don’t remember that ever being announced in any rule changes in the last couple years…?

Literally every time Michkov attempts the Michigan all I can think is ‘I’ll bet Torts has smoke coming out of his ears right now.’ 😂

We did not, in fact, create a mess. Shortly after the answering the phone, no response incident, the customer called the store’s phone. Manager told them we had the phone at the register and they came back to get it before first shift ended. 🙂

They only adopted that saying because one of the players said it.

I always thought Philly fans (across all 4 sports) thrived on being the “underdog”, so why some fans are stuck on what the national media thinks/says is baffling. But that’s the internet for you, I guess.

You can definitely understand why Torts sat him for an entire period like 4 games ago.

These types of conversations happen at least 3x’s a game. I’m slowly remembering with each game why I use to isolate myself in my bedroom to watch games alone. The absurd, nonsensical yelling at the TV is 😵‍💫.

Especially when you consider Torts is highly respected around the league and when he’s not a huge fan of a player, teams are likely to take notice of that fact.

It’s been talked about a lot lately, but I can definitely envision a word where Frost is the first domino to fall. What they get in return I don’t have any idea, but it would not be a surprise to see him shipped out first.

Regardless of WHERE exactly they draft, my hope for upcoming draft is that they look for a “shoot first” player to play with Michkov. Also don’t attempt to develop him into a “200ft player that thinks shoot first”. They need to develop the specific player’s strengths, not the other way around, IMO.
