I am finding that in general, they are smarter than deer. Regardless, I do not go to work in the dark; their eyes do not reflect light. My last day of work for the season, last April. Momma and yearling. I pulled over to let them cross safely.

It has issues, being over 130 years old, but I swear...it was waiting for me. I may have lost a few m² inside, but the size of the yard...and this veranda...I live out here all summer. 💚
