Would the Sligo Avenue neighborhood be open to supporting signage to remind motorists that kids are present? Include the local daycare Kiddie Academy of Silver Spring (& its parents!) and @montgomerycollege.bsky.social for a collab with @mcdotnow.bsky.social to create something suitable?

DC is the poster child for taxation without representation. Making it a state with real voting power in Congress is both solidly principled and a phenomenal long term strategy move. The Dems need to prioritize this at the very next opportunity.

I walked into the WF today and saw these sheaves of wheat for sale which I’ve never seen there before. It’s one of the classic symbols of fascism, coincidentally enough. Decided it was a little too on the nose, coming from a store owned by Amazon/Bezos and so walked out
