IMO it played out like this: Biden always talked about restoring alliances & order. Then he undermined laws to send money to Israel & the world was on fire. It breeds cynicism & ppl give up on idea of moral order & want to vote in a “disruptor” who brings in peace through strength.

Poll is prob overstating it but def a factor. Everyone thinks Dems r obsessed w foreigners (refugees/Ukranians/Israelis) than American citizens. Don’t have to celebrate campus tentists to find it annoying our country is breaking Leahy law and sending money abroad for Israel to commit war crimes.

Im deeply concerned that Dems have accommodated anti-trump hawks as permanent members of Dem coalition. We should moderate on culture to expand Dem tent but throw out bloodthirsty sociopaths like Tim Miller & Bill Kristol and the rest of Bulwark.

This is the case for most polling. Mostly no one votes on Gaza but Dems looked like they’re obssessed w everybody but Americans (Ukrainians/Israelis/Pals/refugees). Kamala never campaigned on “peace”, used Bush rhetoric w “Protecting Democracy Abroad”, Trump gestured towards “Peace” at least.
