Both my parents were also but especially my mom. My siblings and I are as well. Mom was a stoic farm girl, Pennsylvania Dutch. An excellent recruit.

I don’t know because she never ever talked about it. She only said she loved the whole experience. She wasn’t a college gal. Dad had 20 years in CT and retired as a CTCS. Not bad for a hs dropout. Mom was a bit older and a veteran of WWII, of course, and dad was Korea and Vietnam.

My mother worked at that location also as a WAVE and then as a civilian. My father was a sailor assigned there when they met. Our mothers must have known each other.

I was in Kotor in November on a day trip from Dubrovnik. I understand!
