When I clicked on this story, the headline said the CDC director had been ousted. But this updated story says she is refusing to leave (similar to what Fed governor, Lisa Cook is doing). RFK Jr. likely does have authority to fire Monarez, although she can appeal.

A leading question is phrased to suggest a particular answer, putting words in the mouth of the witness. But a lie uttered to exonerate another liar is still a lie.
