When offering support, direct it inward to those closer to the crisis. If you need to vent, do it outward—toward someone in a bigger ring.

Our favourite family recipe:
Skoki Gold Carrot Cake
A handwritten recipe for: "Skoki Gold" Carrot Cake From: Skoki Valley 2 cups flour 2 tsp. b. powder 1 1/2 tsp. b. soda 2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp salt. 3/4 cup broun sugar 3/4 cup oil 3/4 cup white sugar 4 еggs 1 - 8 oz can crushed pineapple (+ juice) 4 cups finely grated carrots. ½ cup chopped nuts 3/4 cup long sweetened coconut Sift first 5 ingredients together. Blend together sugars, oil & then eggs. Beat well. Add dry ingredients. Mix. Add carrots, pineapple, nuts & coconut. Grease & flour extra large cake pan. Bake @ 350° for 45 min. to 55 min (until it springs back when touched. Cream cheese icing: ½ cup butter 1- 8оz pkg. cream cheese 1-1b icing sugar (less) 1 tsp. Vanilla Whip with mixer until fluffy.

DD: I only ever make one batch. Trying to do what you’re asking would leave half the ingredients uncooked.

And having dinner pre-cooked is a boon on a buy week night!
