It was always seen as tacky— and it still is.

I’m not bitter towards any of it! I love the series. The 3rd just wasn’t as exciting for me so I put it aside to read SOTR, and then Elphie. I just haven’t gotten super into Elphie yet cuz like #2, so far it’s exposition. I also loved all of the first book. I will then go back and finish 3&4.

How was Out of Oz, without spoilers? I kinda stopped a 1/4 the way through Lion Among Men, cuz it was just so slow and boring. And I’m sadly finding the beginning of Elphie the same 😭 I’ll still read them all though lol

People complain it’s too easy for the traitors to win, and then complain when the faithfuls win. Seems no matter the winning outcome, people aren’t happy lol

Yea the reunion was pretty bad and the whiplash editing did not help at all. They cut to the next question while the previous question was barely even answered.
