In Washington state, in addition to dropping your ballot in the mail, there are numerous special purpose ballot drop off boxes, usually right next to the mail boxes at the post office. I usually drive by and drop mine in one of those.

I think Zelenskyy is playing this as well as is possible. Continuing to concede even fairly large issues in negotiations, knowing that Putin will say no, in order to continue to receive what limited aid the US is currently providing.

How long will it be before he divorces his wife and disowns his kids? I don’t see how you can reconcile this rhetoric and his personal life.

Thanks. I wondered about those since the voice seemed unnatural. I saw a “Maddow” one as well. The voice rhythm is wrong. AI has a certain sound.

The more European approach would be to inspect them, find them unsafe and an environmental hazard, causing them to be impounded. Same effect, but plausible deniability of warlike intent.

Probably the Finnish model. Everyone serves a few years in the military, rotating thru to the reserves, so 800000 active, lots of trained reserves available at need. Probably they feel that’s as many actives as the population and economy can support.

Good point. Trousers on males were considered barbaric at that time. So between the skin tight tshirt and trousers he’s definitely going to Hell.
