One great thing about L.A. is that you can stop into any random Mexican dive and get some of the best food of your life. Picked up this 3 taco plate (lengua, cabeza, al pastor) at the nearby carniceria.

It's a chilly, rainy day, so I'm revisiting this 80s cheese classic directed by my old friend Kevin Tenney. It's a passably decent exploitation film that taps into the Satanic Panic of the 80s in a reasonably fun way. Not to mention it features Tawny Kitaen in her Whitesnake era.

Revisiting the marvelous, underseen coming of age film ANGUS (1995). Terrific look at a high school underdog making good, with a stellar first time performance by Charlie Talbert, who is ably assisted by the great Kathy Bates and George C. Scott. Awesome 90s alternative soundtrack too!

Currently watching John Woo's seminal action masterpiece HARD-BOILED in 4K on digital. This is the best I've ever seen the film look! All the classic Woo films are being released in remastered 4K versions by Shout Factory. And yes, you're damn right that I'll be getting them all on disc!

Well HELLO South Park! Been a while since the show registered on my radar, but tonight's Trump/Epstein episode was scathing and hilarious. Nice callbacks to the movie too, with Trump becoming Satan's newest lover.
Ketchup bottles will be hitting Mar-a-Lago's walls tomorrow for sure!
