Got my shiny Trex and all he wants is my macarons!
Pre-ordered Mario Galaxy 1+2 (physical).
It is a bit too expensive but I have a weakness for these games and I've wanted to play an HD version of MG2 for years.
The only difference for MG1 over All Stars will be 4k and minor texture improvements. But it will still be the best way to play the game.

Pokemon Pokopia...looked like Animal Crossing with maybe Viva Pinata in terms of adapting the area to attract new Pokemon?
Need to see more but if they execute this well it could be very interesting.

Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 bundle gave me everything I needed from that. Was happy with the whole direct after 5 minutes.

Overall...it's right up there! Wasn't sure on the intermissions but they keep things fresh and vary play. Knockout Tour is exceptional! Great offline but an absolute scrap online!

Two weeks with Mario Kart World.

Wasn't sure if I wanted Resident Evil 9 to be first or third person, so the fact that you can play in either is perfect!
Will likely default to first person and on subsequent playthroughs switch to third.

Very much looking forward to the Persona 4 remake. Only played it in 2021 but really liked the story and the setting.
The dungeons were by far the weakest aspect of it, and presumably the remake can solve that.
A shame we got limited footage and no date, but I guess it's just not ready yet.

Ok that Resident Evil 9 trailer did look pretty damn good!
Definitely leant onto the horror vibes which I really welcome! Hopefully it stays that way.
New protagonist is a plus for me too!

Tried Pokemon Scarlet as well.
It is soo much smoother. Very few frame drops (though felt the odd stutter). Pop in's better but still there. A lot more Pokemon are spawning, Shiny hunting will be easier.
Overall it doesn't quite make it feel like a new game, but is much nicer to play.

Can't play until after work but I transfered data etc at lunch.
Early thoughts:
Joycons so much better!
The screen looks so nice and crisp.

Finished You...the show had become so ridiculous last season that I watched this almost inspite of itself.
It was OK.. They genuinely tried this season. It was at its best when it wasn't handcuffed by the previous season.
The finale was genuinely quite good. Just stripped it back to what mattered.

Debating treating Tears of the Kingdom as a Switch 2 launch title and having a second run-through.
I much preferred BotW (exploration and curiosity is more interesting than busywork) but it's as good an excuse as any to revisit it. Hopefully it could click more for me a second time around.

I wish more games just acknowledged you mainly want to beat the game because you want to beat the game. Doesn't always need to be more than that. 😄

I wish more games just acknowledged you mainly want to beat the game because you want to beat the game. Doesn't always need to be more than that. 😄

I'm bored of the price discussion to be honest but I'm hoping that you'll be able to do regular Grand Prix mode without the inbetween sections.
Also hoping you can custom make your own routes and build your own cups essentially.

In other news, this puzzle on Talos Principle 2's DLC took me about 2 hours over about 4 days 🤣

Honestly what an astonishing game. Absorbed me within about 10 minutes. Refines everything that made Persona good and then ran with it. Great characters, mostly great story, brilliant world building.
Definitely better than P3 and P4, runs P5R very close.
10/10. Incredible.
