When I canvassed for a Yes vote in 2015, I walked alongside many very committed straight allies who were as passionate for change as I was. The referendum demonstrated that a majority of straight Irish people supported our community. They’re welcome at Pride.

Yesterday Dr Teweldebrhan Abraha Reda graduated at UCD. Despite facing considerable adversity, he demonstrated tenacity and focus as he navigated his PhD journey. It was a pleasure to supervise his research and celebrate his wonderful achievement! Shuo, a current doctoral student of mine, is next!
