U.S. sports calendars are weird though, like non-NCAA football stadiums probably belong outside the city with robust public transportation because of how little they’re used.
Our baseball/soccer/b-ball/hockey venues are tragic though, few worse than my Philadelphia’s love for the Sportsplex.

U.S. sports calendars are weird though, like non-NCAA football stadiums probably belong outside the city with robust public transportation because of how little they’re used.

From a entertainment value standpoint, Conf. Champ week is cool and worth keeping imo. + with larger leagues like the CUSA (13 teams, 18 games) there’s some unfairness w/ regular season champs.
That said, I think most tourneys should only have 6 or 10 teams with top 2 seeds straight to the semis.

Yea I think this is really the perfect balance between March madness and rewarding strong regular seasons, really only held back by a janky-looking bracket
