I completely understand your point and I do think it has to be said that DEI isn’t about lowering standards. I think it often gets misunderstood that way. It’s about ensuring the best talent regardless of background gets a fair shot.

Sorry to hear about your struggles with mental health. But I experienced the same while building my company. And then after exit experienced a whole other kind of loss. But I’d do it all over again the same way if I had a chance.

True that. That’s the new DEI politics isn’t it. It’s not about diversity it’s about who will kiss the ring harder and prouder? That’s who gets the job.
