I am so tired of waking up every day and my first thought is "What fuckery has occurred while I was sleeping?" I want to go back to waking up and thinking about my day, not wishing people would fucking die and being eaten up by anxiety and rage. Here's my cat for mental health. He bites Nazis.

This guy is a rescue. I gladly put myself in harm's way, & we worked & worked on it. Now you wouldn't know he's a "challenge." He has a cat brother and we regularly walk with another dog. You don't have to take on the challenge but don't condemn. Every animal deserves a second chance.

On the block at work is this big, beautiful tree, and she is my favorite. This time of year she blooms and makes the air sweet and fragrant beneath her luscious canopy. I like to walk by and say hello, spend some time in her shade.

The river a block away from my house has overflowed her banks. It's better than a snowstorm or wildfire, but flooding brings up some old trauma from the Flood of '93. 2025 is going to be a shitshow on every level.
