if you're on linux and cant download any cores in retroarch, change your core directory under the Directory sections cuz for some reason it defaults to a folder in /lib or whatever and you cant write to that, just use ~/.config/retroarch/cores instead

it sucks cuz like, on my phone its way smoother, transitions actually work between songs and stuff doesnt take forever to load
