Lava's fairly emotionally volatile but he hides between a lazy frat boy attitude in order to avoid any sort of permeance,- physical or emotional- and doesn't. really handle trust well, either trusting people instantly or taking a very long time to do so

he doesn't care about how much about how alcoholism can be seen as shameful- whatever dignity he has is gone. he'll drink in public as much as he wants. he's not open about the effects of such though, not admitting how often his memory blurs and how some days he struggles to even function without it

icing immediately taking it as an excuse to "parent" Antidote more and more, not understanding why he couldn't just "do as he was told" or "act correctly"-. . until Antidote eventually cracked and. stabbed him! to death! which definitely kept him away for the time being

icing is very. . dependent on the way people treat him, coming from somewhere where if you weren't the best you were nothing. it leaves him constantly feeling very alienated and he tends to take it out on people verbally and play the victim when things don't work out

in all actuality, the only person who I would say really.. likes Icing's company is Toasty.. and even then, they don't have the healthiest relationship. icing doesn't really understand "tender" love at all, and he makes. questionable decisions

I should also mention he's very, very stubborn that he has to be correct at ALL times unless he can get a benefit from not being so. for example, not knowing to bake, he nearly burnt down the hotel he resided in as he refused to admit his own fault in. putting a cake in the oven for 360 minutes.

icing doesn't really.. /realize/ the way he grew up was at all abnormal 😭 he expects everyone to have grown up the way he is, and is very confused when they didn't and don't understand when he frets.

the biggest part of Icing 's character is most likely his mother's influence; while he grows away from it it's definitely still there. Icing grew up in a house where he was given most everything materialistically, but wasn't supported in any way otherwise

, and not just to himself. he constantly reprimands others when he thinks it's in his place- not understanding that not everyone has to follow by HIS- well, his mother's- rules, and that most of them are faulty and practically useless.

is sort of in reference to. the spike in people being so obsessed about "aging" and not having wrinkles blah blah blah. icing definitely associates his worth along with his appearance- which, IS a fairly common trait, but he also is a stickler for "manners"
