I’m in Europe, so I see a different perspective. And there is a strong social safety net here. But also, the economic policies HAVE made it difficult for a lot of people. Economic policy is way above my head, but I’d just say even in Europe a strait socialist platform isn’t a winner.

Not voting for Harris IS a tacit vote for Trump. Especially in a binary political system. This is why activists try to suppress the oppositions vote, which, intentional or not, is what you are doing. And it’s a solid gop tactic, especially because they can’t run in a nonexistent platform of hate.
