Labrador. Hungry. Owns David, who's too shy to run his own account, and has nothing useful to say anyway, the coward.
Every Mac app has the shortcut cmd-? (cmd + shift + >) This brings up the help menu with the cursor in a search bar, where you can search for a menu item.

E.g. in Safari, cmd-? then type Zoom and highlight one of the entries – you'll be shown where the Zoom menu items live.

As far as I know, yes. Every day it has 14 types of puzzles, with usually at least two of each type. E.g. the cryptic and concise crosswords, 2 or 3 Sudokus/Killer Sudokus each. And each type of puzzle has their own archive. There's a free trial, I think if you want to check it out.

I have the Homeric Greek book.

It’s hard going but that’s less because of the difficulty of the language, but because of the format: each chapter is mainly a list of links to specific grammar points at the rear of the book. You spend most of your time trying to find the right spot…

I've just read Steven Mithen's "The Language Puzzle: How we talked our way out of the Stone Age".

He sees the arrival of metaphor as a vital stage, enabled by mental and physical developments, and in turn enabling further developments.

I'm not an expert, but I found the book really interesting.
