Tesla is completely unable to compete with the competition. The BASE model 3 (which lacks power adjusted mirrors!?) is $38k. The new TOP TRIM Chevy Bolt (which has power adjust mirrors) is $32k

While the Slate EV seems like a cool idea, if the federal tax credit goes away, which is likely, the Slate becomes a $27k pickup truck that doesn’t have a radio… for $5k more you could have a Equinox EV that does have a radio and… ya know… double the range

Had an incredible time at the @telotrucks.bsky.social unveiling! This truck is truly an amazing piece of engineering, that I am so grateful to have been a part of (and hopefully will continue to be a part of). I will be filming a full YouTube video with it in the future.

Good news! According to the owner and founder of the now defunct Electrameccanica, the cars didn’t have any issues! They just recalled and crushed all the Solos for fun!

Turns out there were actual designs started for the second gen Coda. As you can see the design was in very early stages of development. Would’ve been cool to see if the company hadn’t gone under! (Courtesy of an ex-coda employee)

Fun fact! Coda started working on the “Coda 2” before the company went under. Only one “prototype” was made and it was based on the GWM Voleex c20r. I’ve done a quick and dirty photoshop of what the Coda 2 could’ve looked like. It would’ve been a small electric hatch to compete with the Spark EV
