This is my geriatric, ornery, stubborn baby Brie colonizing my mother post-back-surgery. Cheddar died the same day Mom got home from the hospital, 😅, so Brie has been glad to have someone to cuddle 24/7.

I grew up with three shelter cats and now am down to one. She’s creeping up on 20 but her brother died two weeks ago so she’s aged about a decade in a fortnight. I’m probably not going to have more cats for a long time but I would not trade my shelter babies and our years together for the world.
