This was my first time really messing around with mixing colors, and after some trial and error I was able to get the same sickly purple skin color that Strahd is depicted as having

This one was a lot of fun to paint. The different layers of clothing allowed for some fun color combinations. I added some woad body paint on a whim, and I think it really ties the whole thing
together!

I have mixed opinions on this one, on one hand I view it as a personal achievement as this was the first miniature I painted in under two hours. On the other hand, the limits of my current paintbrush selection made it difficult to add the details I wanted

After getting more confident in my miniature painting skills, I decided to try painting one of my primed but unpainted Citadel minis. It turned out alright, but once I get some finer brushes I'm going to do some touch-ups and add missing details.

Looking back at it, it's interesting that my first three painted miniatures all welded battle-axes. Guess I just have a subconscious preference for a specific melee weapon :p

It was also my first attempt at using shade paints, I'm very happy with how it turned out for a first try :D
