category better like keichi from enstars. kind of a side tangent but even though im mostly over enstars, keichi still holds a special place in my heart bc it being a reversible ship since it shows i like both of them and multiple versions/aspects of their dynamic

im really into both characters and want both to top/i really want to see both bottom which lets the ship transcend into being reversible. majority of my ships are the first kind (such as everything with my current obsession damien<3) but there are a few that fit the second

7. polyamory or monogamy
i tend to prefer monogamy for the same reasons im a monoshipper. i can def be persuaded to like poly ships they can add sm depth to different ships. like characters have relationships to more than just this one guy and poly ships are one way to acknowledge that

i think i skew towards mainstream bc i tend to like ships with more canon basis but on the other side i get irrationally annoyed at extremely popular ships even if i could see the appeal. recently though ive been into a bit rarer pairs just bc. they fill very specific
