Agreed, think we can afford to rotate a fair bit and still beat Saints but if we win it’s 2 games so worth just fully going for it.

We play like that consistently (and with 11 obv) then I’d fully expect us to put a serious run together and peel away from the pack.

Laptop lads like data, and the data from Mo is as good as it’s even been so I don’t subscribe to the 30+ narrative. Fact is most players decline to an extent after 30, but Mo isn’t most players and Laptop lads will know that.

Which of these were still among the biggest contributors to the team when they were deemed surplus to requirements though? Not sure the current players we are referencing fall into the same bracket as any of these names.

Yeah I think the POIs are really good for gunfights but the main POI in the middle I feel looks over everything too easily so like you said there’s a bit too much 3rd partying

I think there’s potential to spiral. Obviously a City spiral isn’t as bad as everyone else’s would be but I think they continue to drop throughout the season. Legs and heads feel like they’ve gone and the spark after 4 in a row feels like it might have ran out. Great news for us if so.

They just had a kind of chemistry you can’t coach. I think it all stemmed from Firmino and then the other 2 just being clever footballers. Firmino is such a rare breed of player, combining someone like him with 2 wingers as elite as Mane and Salah will hardly ever be done.

I think it’s a more risk averse version of what we saw under Klopp. But I also think there’s more reliance on technical ability and progression through the centre of the pitch. Almost a Pep City/Klopp Liverpool hybrid if you will.
