Attachment to being right creates suffering. When you have a choice to be right, or to be kind, choose kind and watch your suffering disappear.

Everything in life is temporary. So if things are going good, enjoy it, because it won't last forever. Conversely, if things are going bad, don't worry, it won't last forever either.

Heads up to beware. Posting a screenshot of a direct message I received (despite stating clearly on my profile No dms). I am not sharing the name of the person.
I did some research as it sure seemed fishy to me. In the meantime, the person blocked me. 🤷‍♀️
Whatever. I returned the block favor. ✌🏼

I just finished watching this film, and not for the first time.
Powerful and stirring example of standing up against tyranny.
Charles Laughton reading the list from Thomas Paine's Rights of Man gets me every single time.

I recorded and watched this film over the weekend. Loved it! Very typical of a Chaplin film with a political message.
If you aren't aware of what happened to Chaplin, look it up. He refused to allow it to be shown in the USA until the mid 70's, with good reason.
If you get a chance, watch it.
