We had a pair of red foxes hanging out in the yard a few mornings ago. They spent several minutes grooming, licking each other's ears. Very cute.

Today's #fitness was a 10 minute warm-up on the bike, followed by AMRAP 25 min of snatch, clean & press, windmill, squat complex x3. I did 6 rounds with the 30lb.

Wow, how's it been a month since I posted about #fitness? I'm still getting it done.
Wed - kettlebells, walk
Thur - indoor bike
Fri - kettlebells, walk
Sat - outdoor bike
Today - a 3mi walk, part neighborhood, part woods hike. My motivation was helped by the #garmin badge.

Snatch x 4
Windmill x 4
Clean x 4
Squat x 4
Left, then right, 30lb.

After really not feeling it last #kettlebell day, this one was pretty good.

I caught sight of some Ruddy Turnstones on their south migration this morning. It was fun seeing them after having learned about them in May during their northern trip.

Today's #fitness was 16 miles of #cycling, mostly at a fairly relaxed pace with a few spots of effort. It was a bit winder and I needed some recovery.

Absolutely glorious weather yesterday! We took the day off work and went for a long ride, interspersed with walking through the Irish Festival and classic cars on the boardwalk.

Today's #fitness was 20 min of EMOM two-handed #kettlebell swings 12 x 35lb
That was hard and made for a pretty cool HR chart.

Happy to have day 2 of 4 on this week's plan accomplished.

Yesterday, I had a visit from an Eastern Wood-Pewee. He perched, sang, and made bug hunting flights in a low tree for 15 minutes. Usually, when I see them here, they are very high up, and it's hard to get photos.

Today's #fitness was 20 minutes of EMOM two handed #kettlebell swings x 10 with the 35lb for 7000 lbs total volume.

I'm working around a tweak knee that yells at me for a few days every time I run. Keeping moving anyway.

20 minutes of EMOM swings with the 35lb kettlebell. #garmin still won't show the muscle map for me. It's only the Share feature where it's missing. The regular screen is fine.

I'm patting myself on the back for doing meal prep before work today, not something I usually do. Second time I've made this one, very yummy. Chicken, beans, veg with Greek yogurt for the creamy base - all healthy goodness.

I don't know what's wrong with #garmin sharing that it's lost the muscle group colors. That's annoying.
Today's #fitness is #kettlebell but I might bop around on my bike a bit too. I decided to jump from my 25 to 30lb and it definitely felt more than 20% harder.

Another great ride this morning. Most of it was at a very relaxed pace, but there was a segment in the middle where I pushed hard and set a few PRs. I feel pretty good about that, as my previous fastest times were in 2020 and 2019.

Yesterday's #fitness was a 15 mile bike ride. Today's was 20 minutes of #kettlebell snatches followed by a 4 mile run. Up until this point, I've told myself that I can't follow a #strengthtraining session with a run, only walking. I'm pleased to prove that no longer true.

Yesterday's #fitness was a 4mi run, a bit faster than the last time I did that same one. So today was #yoga and a recovery run that was really a #walk.

Even though I don't post all of my #fitness stuff here, I've been very consistent lately. Today was a #kettlebell session with snatches & squats. Then, a slow beach walk at low tide where I saw many conchs and hoped a few horseshoe crabs back into the water.
