My image, "Rings of Time", took 3rd place in photography at the annual Keller's Got Talent local art show. 1st time I've put any of my photography out there, so I'm pretty happy. The show runs through 11/20 at Keller Town Hall, Keller, TX. Stop by if you're in the area & see all of the local talent!

Sad to have missed being at a No Kings rally, but happy for Grace to have repped both the mastiff breed & Keller at the 6th AKC Fast CAT Invitational in Wilmington, OH last week. She's gotten older, heavier, & slower (haven't we all!) but still loves to chase that "bunny".

(Trump sucks. Fuck ICE.)

Had a great time at Pride Kel-So yesterday despite a Southlake cop herding me away from the protester with the bullhorn. Hey, I was only trying to tell him about the mental health professionals who could help him with his obsession over other people's genitals & sexual activities.

My dad, in his mid-20th-century ANTIFA uniform. Being antifascist runs in my family.

Damnit! I can't find my ANTIFA membership card! Anybody know how I can get a replacement?

In other news, I finally had several of my photographs printed and I've entered them in the annual community art show in my city: Keller's Got Talent. The show isn't until October, but I didn't know what lead times for all of this would be. First time showing - I'm excited!

Here's what I said at the meeting last night.

That Jolly Ball is no more. Later that morning, Grace got the handle off. My mood has improved a bit since then. Got some house cleaning done & I have a good draft of my comments for the Keller City Council when (if) they consider implementing a 287(g) program. Still, the state of things lies heavy.

The board of education where I lived back in the day gave this book to every student when we graduated from elementary school. This is what needs to be in every classroom, not some religious BS.

Here's a (cute but terrible) picture of Grace with her Rally rosettes as a bit of a timeline cleanser. She's smarter than anyone in Trump's administration.

I don't know if this will help, but figured there was nothing to lose.

Homeward bound after an emotional day yesterday. My 81 yo eldest brother passed away last month. Yesterday was his memorial service. Was good to see family but hard all the same. Lots of tears & laughs.

Doing my performative thing for #TransgenderDayOfVisibility here in very red Tarrant county, TX. Will be off to do the weekly grocery shopping shortly. #TDOV

For my brother, Bill. May his memory be a blessing.

The screenshots will live forever. I only wish I'd captured the reviews. They were hilarious! #Krasnov

Got my 4th & final American Women Quarters proof set from the U. S. Mint today. I'm glad this was completed before Musk's monkey had a chance to stop it as part of his war against diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Found a close up. The monkey looks awfully sad.

Found another photo of Musk & Trump in the Oval Office.

This is how I envision the relationship between Musk & Trump.

Found a fascinating article about organ grinders in DC in the late 19th/early 20th centuries. Faces in the Library of Congress photo looked familiar. I ran it through some face-recovery software & did some Photoshop tweaks. I hope you like the result.

Website hosted by the Library of Congress. Hope this is purposeful resistance on their part. It's 10:37 am CST as I post this. Let's see how long it takes Trump's goons to get it taken down.
