The shrubby boneset, aka white mistflower, has not cared about temps in upper 20s. Let see how she does with 23°F and possible snow (snow!) next week. Plant natives!

The squirrel has figured out how to defeat the squirrel-proof feeder. Tilt it it until a seed falls out, then grab that seed. Repeat until replete.

You may be in Texas if the lantana has burst into blooms in mid-December. I cut these back with the hedge trimmer twice this summer and apparently they love it.
