It is an instinctual knowing that the reality of the pleasures I get to enjoy in this life of mine have only been made possible through the courageous resolve of others' who had to endure indescribable violence, trauma, and suppression to get us here- where we must be STILL poised to fight. (9/16)

We allowed a rapist into the White House who surrounds himself with sexual predators and men that openly and verbally disparage women, while collectively encouraging these sentiments from our fathers, brothers, and neighbors. It is a collective trauma resurfacing. (8/16)

The SAVE act, which claims to make it more difficult for noncitizens to vote, threatens to impact womens' right to vote - the right our foremothers fought for over the course of a CENTURY (and, by the way, was opposed with violence) so that we could have a voice in our democracy. (4/16)
