Pretty sure he's referring to himself...

Thank you!

A short-sighted policy, for sure. The world is stronger when we act together, not against each other.

He enables Putin, he'll never really oppose him

I'm in the UK and also understand how you feel. Trump and his cronies are a malign influence on more than just the US.

Stress does cause or contribute to many illnesses though. So helping people to cope with it better, become more resilient, can only be beneficial to patients and society.

Maybe you're British... ;)

I don't hate frivolity. But AI is energy and resource heavy. Seems pointless to waste it on meaningless stuff.
December 1, 2025 at 6:07 PM
Okay...then I'll change my answer to "reserved for non-frivolous and research-related activities" 😏
December 1, 2025 at 5:55 PM
That's part of research, in my eyes ;)
December 1, 2025 at 3:26 PM
AI should be reserved for research, I think...

It's amazing how he says stuff like that without offering a single shred of proof, and his followers accept it as absolute fact - yet they demand to see ALL the available evidence when some 'leftie' makes claims they don't like.

It's amazing how much little changes...

It does add to the general image of Reform incompetence though, in Kent at least...

Reform suspends four councillors in Kent
It comes after a tense video of councillors arguing over the local authority's finances was leaked to the media.

So he's admitted they've done things that are prison-worthy...?

Seemingly at odds with this though?

Community midwives are brilliant. But help is still needed for many women. It's a choice you have to carefully consider.

For first-time births, "There were 9.3 unfavourable outcomes for the baby per 1000 planned homebirths, compared to 5.3 per 1000 for a planned hospital birth. This difference was significant."

Is home birth the right decision for me? | NCT
Many people think hospital is the best place to have a baby, but this might not necessarily be the case. Read more about giving birth at home.

Exactly - more likely your scenario as well, as I doubt a doctor would come out. It would be an ambulance and the paramedics trying to save their lives.
November 4, 2025 at 11:27 AM
The idea of a home birth is great...as long as you realise that anything can go wrong at any moment. The time it takes for a doctor to arrive can mean the difference between life and death for the baby and/or mother. If I had opted for a home birth, it's likely neither of us would have survived.
