I knit the Barley Hat to give myself a break from some more difficult patterns. I needed a hat and a sense of accomplishment. Great project to use up an odd cake/ball of yarn. 🧶 #knitsky

I saw these in a Piecework magazine several years ago, and had to have them in the exact colors shown. At the time I was able to find a kit. They’re called A Riot of Color: Swedish Mittens. They’re still in the pockets of my most worn coat and I cherish them. #ShowMeYourKnits #knitsky #knitting

I finished these Bernie Sanders mittens a few weeks ago and gave them to a friend who admired them. They had been on the needles since three inaugurations ago so they were hard to let go 😂 #ShowMeYourKnits

This Featherweight Cardigan gave me trauma. When I was about 75% done I left it behind on a train in China. I had to hunt down another skein of this color Wollmeise lace which was hard to obtain in 2011 but I re-knit the whole thing and never wore it. #ShowMeYourKnits

This will hopefully be the Crinoid Shawl eventually but it’s been on the needles since 2008 😳😂 in fairness I haven’t knitted much the last ten years. I’ll pick it back up soon of only to reclaim my needles. Green for this week’s #ShowMeYourKnits

I have turned into a “waste not” kind of gal and found that the moths got to several pair of my knitted socks. So I bought this nifty tool to weave patches. I started on the left sock before I realized I was going to need 17 patches. 🤦🏻♀️ I guess those moths were hungry. #sockknitting #knitsky

I’m cabling without a cable needle after at least 7-8 years of not knitting. So glad to be back to my craft. I have lots of yarn to knit.
