Gotta be kidding me.

It's sadly a music culture a la the 60s boy bands, and for some reason, they thought, "Yeah, let's keep doing that. We want the fans to think they're singing to them FOR THE REST OF THEIR DAYS." If the industry fostered a healthy culture, there would be less issue of this.
