Spoke w/a constituent last night who has a 2yr old. The struggle to piece together quality, safe & affordable childcare has been THE biggest challenge to this couple’s household costs. The numbers bear that out. We can do better by investing at the state level in NH families. #childcare #nhpolitics

Last night the whole town turned out for the Festival of Trees. Thousands of $s raised, hundreds of Santa wishes shared & an affirmation that building community is how we manage through the dark times. Downtown Exeter NH was magical. Being State Senator for this #community is amazing! #nhpolitics

NH property tax bills have gone out as has the sharp realization of the financial mismanagement by NH GOP. Know this, NH Senate Dems are already working to ease this hit. NH cannot afford to keep shirking its responsibilities to taxpayers, giving away $ub$idie$ to the wealthy. #NHPolitics

Date night, dinner with a flight of espresso martinis & opening night of Gladiator II.
The flight was amazing, the movie was really bad. “Glicked” level - unlocked.

I found some JOY tonight with about 100 others at the Exeter Public Library for the Afternotes a capella concert! Music + Libraries = Community 🎶💗🎶
(I got a little choked up during “Our House”) Don’t miss them next month at the Wiggin Public Library in Stratham. They will lift your spirits! #NH
