At our feeders over Thanksgiving weekend: blue jays, tufted titmice, white-breasted nuthatches, house finches, mourning doves, northern cardinals, and a male red-bellied woodpecker. Today: more than a dozen turkeys hoovering up the ground-feeding birds' seeds!

Both photos are beautiful. I was going to say purple, but I like the yellow better because it has subtle purple highlights. And the crows are my favorite birds.

Our crow family is done moulting and they look handsome. I just put up our black sunflower seed tube feeder for the other wintering birds. On Sunday we'll have our first "Nor'easter" of the season (rain and wind storm).
