Been traveling for the past two weeks and amidst the chaos, had initially missed this distressing news from home.
Very bad news late last week from CDC about maternal mortality in the USA - it continues to go up. The leading cause of death for #pregnant people in 2020 and 2021 was infectious diseases, especially #COVID.
