Odds seem real that capitulating firms start charging more. Their conflicts checks now lengthier/onerous b/c they include not just existing clients but WH/Musk interests too. Increased risk of ethics failings/addt'l shakedowns means prof'l liability insurance goes up too. Bigger picture=even worse.

Here's what TikTok told its 170 million users. The US law didn't "ban" TikTok, it required ByteDance to divest its ownership interest. Nothing in the law required TikTok to go dark last night. Posts like this should be seen for what they are - starting tmw, a form of privatized govt propaganda.
