My husband and I are celebrating our 28th anniversary on Saturday. We're going to eat good BBQ and head to a movie, likely the new Captain America. Haven't read reviews yet, so we'll see.

Yes! My husband, 2 youngest sons, and I drove 12 hours yesterday from central IL to NE PA to see our daughter, son-in-law, and 2 grandkids for the weekend.

The '05 Pride & Prejudice is our go-to movie for any activity: cleaning, doing puzzles, making food, etc. It's like inviting a friend to hang out while you just live your life. Even my 12-year old son quotes it regularly.

I just finished this last night. Agree on the funny and poignant. As someone who has an aging parent, and being 52 (and seen as aging by my own kids), there were a lot of emotions stirred up.

I follow him, too! He actually lives in the same small town my mom grew up in. I messaged him on FB and chatted about it. He lives around the corner from my grandma's and aunt's houses. Small world!

Mine, too. I looked around at church at the people I thought I knew. Then 2020 happened with the race/COVID/politics trifecta. I felt like I was living in an alternate universe.
