It always nice to see an old illustration popping up again after many years. My nothofagus moorei, painted in 2002, has been used again in the most recent edition of Curtis’s Botanical Magazine.
Curtis’s Botanical Magazine is the longest running botanical journal in the world, founded in 1787.

We were drawing wild Irish ivy and looking at the trichomes, trying to identify it as Hedera hibernica. Please @bsbi any chance you could help us confirm the id?

Just back from a busy weekend in Dublin where I had the pleasure of teaching botanical illustration to members of the Irish Society of Botanical Art in the Glasnevin National Botanic Gardens. We were delving deeply into Ivy!
