I covered crime and courts in Mark Twain's hometown of Hannibal, MO--until the day I was told I needed to fill in somewhere for a short time, which turned into a long time--and that's how I became the first female sportswriter in Missouri.

Hey, wait! You were a TV reporter? Where? I was a newspaper reporter! Now I have to run to my IL meeting!

Congrats! It's a big job. I was president of IM--then I moved after that, so IL is almost like starting over again.

Happy Saturday! Since the snow and ice are almost gone, I'm looking forward to a visit from my three biological sisters--I'll see my P.E.O. sisters Monday night--for lunch today. We haven't been together in a very long time!

My Chapter will have our Founders' Day program Monday evening. Chapters have some unique programs to commemorate them.
