Reuters gathered an expansive set of arrest records in D.C. since Trump's show of force began. The number of arrests -- a key measure of law enforcement activity, not necessarily of crime -- barely changed.

I doubt these are FEMA disaster funds, just money
being passed through FEMA, which has the systems in place to get funds to the states quickly - when they want to. There are plenty of other reasons to hate this mess. The macho BS from desantis about it is just gross.

They haven't tried doing all of it in one bill before, so that's new.

It also effectively strips many people of health care in places, mostly rural and/or low income, where private providers simply do not exist.

My library has ONE digital copy, with 49 people (now 50 including me!) on the several months long wait list. My Florida county library system seems to have vastly underestimated the demand!
