Please do not vote yes in order to avoid a shutdown. This is a Republican ploy. No one wants a shutdown, but many of us would rather have a shutdown than a nod to what this Republican Administration is doing. Voting yes for this bill gives them the ability to cut more programs.

I know my opinion doesn't matter to you, I'm not in your district; I would rather risk a shutdown than agree to the cuts the Republicans want. With all the department closures, firings and layoffs, the system is already in chaos. Those cuts will do more harm long term than a shutdown will.
