Downtown Port Townsend has a very very old fence around a playing field, Memorial Field. Currently local artists are painting it, section by section. Sure does add a LOT to our little town. THANKS artists!

He only recently turned 9. When I'd take him off leash he'd drop his ball and throw himself down on it, rolling back and forth vigorously on it. He found more balls in the bushes than anybody else. His name was Eldorado, Eldo, for short. Everyone who met him smiled.

Eldorado's cat Betty. She's ten, he's eight, so technically he's more hers. You might even say she raised him. She is inordinately possessive and, for her, home is wherever Eldo is.

Eldorado, half yellow Lab, half Golden Retriever, loves chasing balls or swimming for sticks at the beach. Wears himself out, then snoozes.
