🇨🇦🇺🇦Artist, wife, mom, grandma, I love my gardens, birds, bees, critters, reading, taking photos, British tv shows, spiritual. Sensitive to people on the other side. It's real. I have personal experiences. Grief sucks. I miss my youngest daughter.
Finished decorating the outside this afternoon. I was setting up the candy cane lights under the overhang (of my house) and my neighbour says, "Oh it's you! I was wondering who was grunting. I thought I was the only one outside grunting. 🤣 He was working on his car tire change over.

Put some red glittery on the wreath and around the plant pot on the table. Put a red and green bough above the wreath. Need to do something to the chairs. Might search for festive plastic table cloths and cover them.

Purple #petunias 🌱 still growing in their pot outside. I usually leave everything outside as is over winter. Red flowers still blooming on the porch pots.

This #canna was given to me as my daughter didn't want it at her workplace as she tends to neglect plants. I kept it outside in the summer until all the drooping died off. You can see the shock on some leaves from atmosphere change. Lots of good regrowth.

Our first snowfall of the season is happening now. I'm not a fan of winter. Son-in-law and granddaughter did my tire changeover yesterday. I pulled out the shovels, vehicle snow brushes with scraper ends and little shovels for the vehicles yesterday. The ❄️ have gotten larger now.

I think my #hibiscus is reacting to being brought inside. Yellow leaves so needs more watering, I think. I counted 8 flower buds! This is exciting!

Good morning! Walked into my dining room to see these 2 flowers on the #hibiscus #gardening These only last for a day.

Ugh, I'm annoyed as I discovered that my car had been backed over on the front driver's side corner below the headlight, catching and tearing paint from my car. Likely someone backing out. I think it happened this morning when I was out grocery shopping with my granddaughter.

The #moon tonight is orange again because of the smoke from the fires that blew in yesterday. There is a haze around the moon.

Yesterday morning I discovered critters destroyed most of my hollyhocks 🤬😭 I'm sure it was squirrels as they did this last year. I heard a ruckus outside around 7AM but was too tired to get out of bed to check. I do have a couple standing stalks of hollyhocks left.
