One disappointing thing in 2025 was that no one used the fileprep library.

I still think the idea of preprocessing and validation for files using struct tags wasn’t a bad one.

Maybe I just didn’t promote it well enough.

In 2025, the filesql library gained GitHub stars.

Running SQL queries against various file formats seems to have resonated. Interestingly, some people introduced filesql as a command-line tool.

They probably let an AI generate the description.

Functional languages like Haskell are certainly fascinating.

That said, whether I can genuinely fall in love with Haskell depends a lot on the environment and the requirements.

For me, Haskell and OCaml are hard — haha.
