Our children are watching what is now "accepted" behavior!? It's not OK.
God willing, we will survive and put this ugly chapter behind us, but I'm not OK right now. I'm angry..
I do love you, but I need to process.

I grieve for all those belittled by our newly elected president. It's not OK.
I cannot comprehend how a felon convicted by his peers will occupy the oval office when in most states a convicted felon can't even vote. It's not OK.

My parents, my late husband's parents, and we have passed these tenets on to our children and to our grandchild.
I grieve for my 2 nieces and a dear friend who are survivors of rape and sex abuse when they will see yet again a convicted rapist in the oval office. It's not OK.

I am sick to my core. I'm processing my life, moral values, and choices. I've been processing for 2 weeks how my grandfather, a Lutheran pastor, taught me to love my fellow man, protect and help the least of these, and do unto others as you would have done unto you.
