Why do people say “crickets” when they mean silence? I’m here in Maine with the window open to the night air, and the crickets are LOUD. Maybe we should say spiders. They seem pretty quiet.

So many are feeling despondent.Remember… GOP did not win the majority vote. It was 49.8%. The rest voted for Kamala and others. I’m tired of hearing them brag about the mandate. I’m not a mathematician but you’d have to be a magician to make this a majority.

I’m so tired of hearing “The American people voted for this.” It should be “some Americans”. The majority of Americans did NOT vote for DT.
