That’s fine you’re welcome to disagree, just be careful. You’re on shaky ground in your choice to not challenge your bias of Dem leadership, especially the institutional Dems. This is coming from someone who survived high control religion (aka cult).

I am not including the left leaning more action oriented Dems in the ID category. AOC, Bernie, Crockett, and many others are working to obstruct and have been obstructing their entire tenure in Congress. Their work is admirable. The ID needs to take a lesson from them and get into good trouble.

I’m not going to take part in whataboutism of the right. Which is what you’re asking me to do. We’re not in the “it’s ok we have another election” stage anymore. GOP isn’t following the law! If the courts & Dem lawmakers don’t hold them to account now we don’t get another chance.

That’s literally what I have said. Not sure if it was to you or not. Find out what is keeping GOP from doing right and lean into it. If they’re being bribed then offer a way out if they do the right thing. LEO does this all the time in criminal cases so it’s not above the law.

I’m sure there are opportunities that would allow a workaround to get beyond these 2 people. Otherwise 2 people have ultimate power and authority. Why bother having a Constitution, Congress or a SCOTUS? I refuse to believe we’re fucked until we’ve done (not tried) everything possible.

And for the record I believe the action should be coming from white people first and foremost. POC have carried the burden and had to fight for far too long. The burden should never have been on them.

I get it. But there have to be people in Congress who will start the process with a referral. Thinking that the DOJ is his and not even trying because of that is as good as giving up. And all is lost.

I stood against my family and friends. I am not a bigot. I would be demanding the same action of a white man. We are in desperate times and sitting back hoping for a blue wave in 2026 or 2028 is the same old thing that got us here. We can have the wave but they’ll cheat to steal it away.
