Some of the largest rallies were in the reddest of places. Salt Lake City was enormous. There were at least 3 in St. Louis area, incl a very red suburb. All 50 states. Many older, white who probably never protested before. Start of unity/movement?

The effort to erase the history, accomplishments, humanity and celebration of all non-white Americans is an abomination. The erasure is to keep us from learning what white men have done to minority communities, and prevent them from having to admit it, also to show us they have the power to do it.

Going to #WICKED Wednesday. Had to wait for my daughter to come home from college as I promised we’d see it together. Will people who voted for the real life wizard will understand this? Or are they completely oblivious?

If you want to counteract the meanness and negativity in the world, support the annual Musial Awards. St. Louis shines. Bob Costas gets the lifetime achievement award for sportsmanship, interviewed by Billy Crystal. So many stories of great sportsmanship, kindness, decency. It’s like the antidote.

St. Louis is home to the Hate Club Nazis. But also today, reps from Mo Historical Society returned historic ledger drawing collection by two Kiowa warriors back to the tribe in an emotional ceremony in OK City. Might be first time a collection like this has been in tribal hands.

Seems like too many people get away with bad stuff lately, so I’m happy to see the former board chair of Circus Flora charged by DOJ with stealing $120k+ from this wonderful arts organization. I served on that board for years. Will send a donation today.
